Some of the news and events that happened this week, but which I didn’t get around to discussing myself:
Rocketmiles is offering double miles when you book a hotel stay in Australia today only. You need to use this link to book, but you also need to sign up for the program first. Read my review to learn more.
Wandering Aramean has news on two promotions from JetBlue, offering 5,000 and 7,000 points.
Get 100 Hyatt Gold Passport points for doing nothing. They’re only worth about $1.50, but it’s a good way to keep any points from expiring.
One Mile at a Time has news on new, discounted first class fares from Alaska Airlines. I quite like their economy class, but anything to make it easier to fly Alaska is good news. What concerns me is that refundable first class paid tickets and refundable first class award tickets are no longer drawn from the same inventory.
One Mile at a Time also has news on more expensive award tickets to Europe when using Alaska miles to travel on Delta.
