Scrolling through my Twitter feed yesterday I came across Aviation Geek Fest. It’s an annual event, and this year they’ve planned a two day bonanza that includes VIP tours of museums and facilities at Boeing’s campuses in Everett and Seattle. The event will be held February 15-16, and tickets go on sale at 2 PM (PT) on Wednesday.
I’ve never attended before, but Saturday’s program includes a tour of the new Everett delivery center. Considering that my wife helped design the place I figure I should get a chance to take a look at it.
200 tickets are available, and the first 50 to sign up will get a special treat: access to the Space Shuttle Trainer Crew Compartment at the Museum of Flight. Tickets are $30 each day or $50 for both days (plus some ticketing fees imposed by EventBrite).
