I used to spend a lot of time on these reviews, probably more than I should have. But there is still information out there I never get around to sharing and builds up in my RSS reader or browser bookmarks. This is my opportunity to start with a clean slate each week.
Some of the news and events that happened this week, but which I didn’t get around to discussing myself:
- IHG Rewards is granting free Internet access to all members, elite or otherwise, even if not staying at their hotels. Is this a program enhancement or an “enhancement”?
- Get 2,000 free Miles & More miles in your kid’s account (HT to View from the Wing) to search Miles & More award availability; though it’s less important if you have a M&M credit card
- Million Mile Secrets has the scoop on a 50K point offer for the Capital One Venture card
- 14% discount on Frontier Airlines through Sunday (must travel by March 12)
- Million Mile Secrets is giving away $200 in JetBlue gift cards
And a few things I did discuss and think are worth your attention:
- American Airlines is offering EXP status trials to Premier 1K members of United Airlines
- I shared tips on how to earn and track elite qualifying dollars with United and Delta
- Hawaiian Airlines and Barclays announced their new credit card
- Today I shared a recap of changes to Hyatt’s Gold Passport program and what you should book before they go into effect on January 7
